Mobile Home Rehabilitation Loan-Grant  Program

The City of Ventura contracts with the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura to implement the Mobile Home Grant Program.

Based on your income and property location, this program may be able to assist you in repairing and rehabilitating your mobile home.  Many of the eligibility requirements are outlined below:

     Own a mobile home
     Reside on the property
     Have the financial capability to repay the loan (applicable within the first five (5) years)
     Be within the established income limits and area boundaries

Loan-Grant program offers:
 
     An un-secured zero (0) percent interest loan up to a maximum of $5,000.00. The loan balance is forgiven after five (5) years.
        If within that five years the property is sold, titled-transferred, or borrower no long occupies the home as his/her principal
       residence, the loan balance will be due and payable in prorated payments.  

Typical repairs may include:

     Plumbing/Sewer
     Electrical
     Re-roofing
     Painting
     Windows and doors
     Structural repairs
     Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
     ADA accessibility improvements
